The operative dictations from vascular surgery are designed to give a clear, concise, and direct representation of the complete operative procedure. They discussed bypass procedures to redirect blood flow around blocked arteries, angioplasty to expand clogged arteries, stents to prop them open, and coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) to create new routes around blocked arteries. In the second part, they spoke about cardiovascular disease and how it’s treated. They also discussed the difference between open surgery and minimally invasive surgery. The doctors discussed how the field has changed and how new tools have been created to make the job easier.
